COVID INFORMATION

We continue to act on the latest government guidance in relation to Covid.

New Patient Information Form

If you are new to us at Active Now Physiotherapy, we will email you a New Patient Information Form to complete before your appointment.  This will ask for information such as your past medical history and GP details.

Whilst we no longer screen for Covid symptoms, please rearrange your appointment if you feel unwell or have an upset tummy.  You are likely to have a better response to treatment if you are not under the weather, and it reduces the risk of transmission of viruses to others.

Appointments – Face-to-Face or Telehealth?

Most of our patients choose to attend the clinic for face-to-face appointments.  If you would prefer a telehealth appointment on zoom, this can be arranged.

Some people like a blend of face-to-face and zoom appointments, as these can work well around work commitments or if  you would be travelling some distance to visit us.

We’ve learnt during the lockdowns, that zoom appointments can be very effective, but recommend that your device has a camera and a microphone.  A tablet, laptop or desk top computer works best for these, as a mobile phone screen is too small.

Face to Face Appointments Procedure:

  • A New Patient Form will be emailed to you if it is your first time attending. Please complete this and email it back ahead of your appointment.  If you are clinically vulnerable to Covid please make this clear when you book in.

  • Please wait in your car until asked to come in by the physiotherapist.  If you feel unwell, please rearrange your appointment.

  • We no longer require you to wear a face mask, or are required to wear a face mask ourselves as staff for routine care.

  • If you are clinically vulnerable, we will ask you to wear a face mask if possible and will also wear a facemask.

  • Please only bring essential items with you – avoid bags / coats / scarves etc.

  • The clinic is cleaned between patients in line with government guidelines for infection control.

  • Payment will be taken using a contactless system with a debit or credit card or you may be emailed an invoice to pay online.
